Speech Sound Practice Sheets

This week I wanted to draw your attention to the speech sound practice worksheets contained on the Speech & Language Tips and Stategies website. The Learn and Practice tab will take you to these sheets. All sounds in the English language are available in all word positions (initial, medial and final) as well as consonant clusters. These can be easily printed for practice at home or in the classroom. If you are able to pinpoint particular sounds your child or student is having trouble producing select the appropriate worksheet (generally initial or final positions might work best to start) print and try practicing. Have the child look at your mouth, give a good model and ask them to try and say the pictured word. Contact your school Speech-Language Pathologist if you need more strategies to help the child produce correctrly.
